Who Are they
Giuseppe Visenzi established GIVI 30 years ago. The idea was to bring
Italian design together with a strong technological attitude and a great
specific knowledge of materials. The production centre is in Italy
with Distribution Centres in Europe and America, including one within the
UK. There are always two inseparable elements: the most innovative
technology and the recognized quality made by hand in Italy. We hold a

the more popular models of motorcycle. Usually an order placed for a
rack will be delivered to you within 5 working days unless the part is on
back order in which case there could be a delay on an additional 5 days.

Products
Givi's main product is hard luggage and the racks needed to mount it on your
motorcycle.
Givi make 2 ranges of hard luggage, Monokey and Monolock. Monolock cases were originally designed for scooters and are mainly suitable for bikes upto 500cc, however there are some exceptions. The Monokey range are sturdier cases designed for larger bikes.
Q: Why can I not put a Monolock Box on my 750cc Bike?
A: It's all a question of stability at speed and Givi will not guarantee a Monolock Box on a bike larger than 500cc, with the exception of the E470, which is a double-skinned box and is suitable for larger bikes. There are other exceptions, where there is a weight limitation on a particular bike. This said, Givi do provide mounting plates to enable you to fit Monolock Boxes and it is your decision at the end of the day.
Q: How will the cases fit onto my Bike?
A: There are a couple of options. Givi make the Wingrack, which is one piece of framework, constructed in light alloy, which will enable you to fit either panniers only or panniers and a top box. A fitting kit specific to your bike is also required. Wingracks are mainly for bikes of over 500cc as they are designed to take Monokey boxes. If you only want to fit a top box, you will need the Givi Motorcycle Luggage Monorack Arms. In conjunction with a top plate, this will enable you to fit either a Monolock or a Monokey box to your bike. If you want to fit panniers only, there is the option of a tubular side case holder, which again are bike specific. This can be used on its own or in conjunction with the Monorack Arms. The new PLX range is designed to fit the V35 contour panniers for bikes with high exhausts. Givi have recently introduced the PLXR range for a handful of bikes, which is a quick-release side case holder.
Givi also produce a very high quality range of soft luggage, panniers, tank bags, tail packs and various back packs and bags. During 2010 they introduced the very popular GPS bag, which enables a rider to use a car sat nav on his/her bike.
