What is it all about
In this category we feature 2 makes of bike specific Sat Navs. We also
have a range of mounting options for the units.
Who makes them
Garmin make the Zumo 660 which we hold in stock. There are other
options in the Garmin Motorcycle Navigation range and if you are interested in these then please
request a price. We do not hold a lot of stock as the price of these
units tend to fluctuate greatly.
We also sell the Tom Tom Rider V2 but this is not a stock item and is available to order only. Again this is due to price fluctuation.
What are the options
The primary two products manufactured specifically for the Motorcycle market are the Tom Tom Rider 2 and the Garmin Zumo. The latest Garmin model is the
Zumo 660, which we hold in stock and have a demonstration model available for customers to try out at our shop or stand as we do take this to shows.
Both of these devices will work using Bluetooth, either to a Bluetooth headset or to an intercom system such as Starcom that can interface using
Bluetooth.
The Garmin also has the ability to be wired in to an intercom system. Both models provide excellent map capability.
The devices are very good at directing riders using voice prompts only as it is obviously better to keep your eyes on the road. We stock many methods of
mounting these devices should you wish for an alternative to the supplied brackets.
