What is it all about
In this category you will find a large range of Motorcycle Soft Luggage by various
manufacturers. Soft luggage is ideal for those motorcyclists who do
not want a permanent structure on their bike but prefer to throw a pair of
panniers over when going touring or strap a bag onto the back. Also if
you have a sports bike, it is not always possible to fit hard luggage even
if you want to. There are also options for mounting soft luggage onto
racks, either pannier racks to keep the bags well away from the exhaust, or
back racks. You will also find a wide range of tank bags in this
category, both strap on and magnetic.
Who makes them
Oxford have a wide range of Motorcycle Soft Luggage but
Givi also do a very good
range, as do
Baglux.
Ventura actually do a rear rack which will take their range of bags and
we also stock the
Helen 2 Wheels range of soft luggage, which is a completely waterproof
option.
What are the options
The options here are huge and as Motorcycle Soft Luggage is not made specifically to
fit a bike, it is often better to try the items on your bike where at all
possible. We hold a wide range and are always happy for customers to
try the product on their bike before purchasing, both at our showroom and
the various shows we exhibit at.
Tankbags in this section are either magnetic or strap on and come in all shapes and sizes. Panniers can either be throw-over, with straps which fit under the seat and over and then bungee to any convenient point on the bike or can be attached to a light-weight pannier frame. Tail packs can be fitted onto a rack, or a pillion seat. With the versatile Helen 2 Wheels range, you can stack the bags on top of each other, all fastened securely with the straps also made by Helen. The beauty of this system is that it is completely waterproof and fits most bikes. The Ventura packs come in various sizes and just slip onto their rack, either facing outwards if you are carrying a pillion passenger or inwards if you are riding alone.
